Are you interested in representing the University of Sydney at UniSport Australia Nationals in 2021?

Sydney Uni Basketball is encouraging all students to register their interest for the men’s and women’s teams who will compete against other Australian universities at Nationals in the Gold Coast between September 25th and October 1st.

The dates for the 2021 UBL finals have been confirmed in collaboration with the six universities and relevant stakeholders.

The finals will be held on Tuesday 13 July - Wednesday 14 July at The University of Sydney with semi-finals taking place on the Tuesday and the bronze medal matches followed by the grand finals on the Wednesday.

In consultation with the participating universities, UniSport Australia advises that the University Basketball League (UBL) finals scheduled to be held at The University of Sydney (USYD) on Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 June have been postponed.

Due to the Victorian lockdown and travel restrictions impacting a number of teams in the finals, the decision has been made to postpone.

Both USYD Men and Women have finished the 2021 University Basketball League (UBL) regular season with 5-1 records following mixed results against The University of Western Australia (UWA).
