Sydney Uni Basketball Club Provides More Value to Members in 2021

The Sydney Uni Basketball Club is back in 2021, providing all students and community members with the chance to hit the courts on campus.

In 2021, members of the Sydney Uni Basketball Club will gain access to 2 scrimmages per week, new apparel options, and the opportunity to represent the club in Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness (SUSF) lunchtime basketball competitions.

Club scrimmages will continue to run on Thursday evenings, with the addition of a second scrimmage on Tuesday (mid-morning) coming in-semester. All scrimmages take place at the Sydney Uni Sports & Aquatic Centre, with two courts available to members during allotted timeslots. You can see what time upcoming scrimmages will run via our ‘Schedule” page. These scrimmages are a great opportunity for players of all abilities and experience to hit the court and play pick-up games.

The first Club scrimmage of the year will take place this Thursday evening (5.30-6.30pm). To register your attendance, please click here.

Coming in February, new Sydney Uni Basketball Club members will receive the exclusive 2021 Sydney Uni Basketball Club t-shirt upon purchasing an annual membership. Working closely with apparel partner ISC Sport, the Basketball Club’s 2021 t-shirt will be made exclusively available to members who join or renew their membership in 2021.

Finally, Sydney Uni Basketball Club members will also have the opportunity to represent their club in SUSF’s lunchtime basketball competitions in both semester one and two. With team registration costs covered by the Basketball Club, members can play in the 9-week competitions by organising teams with fellow club members. To register your interest in representing the Basketball Club in the lunchtime competition, current members can complete this form.

With all these benefits to consider, an annual Basketball Club membership provides great value for both students ($60) and community members ($80) of all abilities and experience.
